AirWürttemberg positions itself as a regional virtual airline based in southern Germany – but several key aspects reveal significant shortcomings in structure, technology, and overall concept. Outdated VA System (FsAirlines) Relying on FsAirlines as the primary platform is no longer appropriate in 2025. Compared to modern systems like phpVMS 7 or custom solutions, FsAirlines lacks flexibility, user experience, and integration capabilities. Large Community on Paper – Low Activity in Reality While the airline claims to have a large number of members, recent observations show only about 10 truly active pilots. This indicates weak engagement, limited events, and low long-term motivation. No Clear Structure or Direction There is no recognizable structure within the airline’s organization or daily operations. New members receive little guidance, which makes onboarding difficult and creates an unprofessional impression. Unreasonable Rank and Type Rating System The airline’s current rank and type rating restrictions are outdated and overly strict. New pilots face major limitations, which reduces flexibility and enjoyment from the very beginning. Overstated Claims Without Substance Claims of being the "best airline in the world" or "best German virtual airline" are not supported by reality. In its current state, AirWürttemberg does not reflect the quality or professionalism of a virtual Lufthansa or Eurowings, but rather comes across as an unstructured project with outdated tools and no clear concept.

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
  • Initial publication does not guarantee a review will remain visible.
