About us

Euroscot Virtual and its sister brand Air Scotland Virtual first took flight in 2008–2009 with a bold vision: to bring authentic Scottish aviation culture to the virtual skies. Inspired by real-world Scottish carriers such as Flyglobespan and other historic operators, the team built a passionate, community-driven experience rooted in realism, camaraderie, and national pride. Operations eventually paused, but the legacy lived on. In May 2025, Euroscot, Air Scotland Virtual, and Air Scotland Virtual Cargo relaunched with a modernised fleet, refreshed branding, and a renewed commitment to immersive realism. Today, our network blends Scottish identity with EU, regional, and long-haul operations shaped by the spirit of the airlines that came before us. We aren’t just back - we’re building something enduring, and every flight writes the next chapter in Scottish virtual aviation.

Euroscot (S6/EUS), our EU and Africa-focused carrier; Air Scotland (S7/SCO), our domestic, regional, and international operator; and Air Scotland Virtual Cargo (S8/SCC), our cargo division, proudly carry Scotland’s legacy across the globe. From local Scottish hubs to far-reaching international destinations, our schedule blends business-focused realism with immersive simulator experiences. Pilots can choose their home base from EGPH Edinburgh, EGPF Glasgow, EGPK Prestwick, EGPD Aberdeen, or EGPA Kirkwall, unlocking access to a vast and diverse network. With over 55 years of combined simulator expertise, our staff are here to support and elevate every journey. We are also a fully endorsed VATSIM Partner VA, committed to high standards of professionalism and community engagement. Our fleet proudly wears Scotland’s story - from iconic landmarks to legendary figures — with custom liveries that serve as airborne tributes to our heritage.

vEUS operates three Air Operator Certificates, each with a distinct purpose, and every pilot can fly across all three from day one. EUS – S6 “EUROSCOT” serves as our flagship carrier and parent company, with all flights originating from UK airports and routing exclusively to destinations within the European Union and EU-recognised third-party countries, reflecting real-world operational logic with full virtual immersion. SCO – S7 “BRAVEHEART” is our domestic and global arm, operating UK regional services - including the Highlands and Islands - alongside long-haul and ultra-long-haul routes connecting Scotland to destinations as far as the UAE and beyond. SCC – S8 “BRAVEHEART CARGO” forms our dedicated freight division, linking key UK hubs with Europe, the Middle East, and beyond through regional supply runs and intercontinental logistics, scheduled independently from passenger operations.

What makes us special?

Originally established between 2008 and 2010, Euroscot Virtual and Air Scotland Virtual quickly became well‑known names within the virtual aviation community. After operations ceased due to extraordinary circumstances, the VA proudly re‑emerged in May 2025 - bigger, better, and bolder than before. Our relaunch builds on the foundations of our original mission while reconnecting with historic members, re‑establishing our brand identity, and welcoming a new generation of pilots as we work toward earning pride of place within the virtual airline world.

Euroscot Virtual is built around the belief that every pilot should feel welcome, supported, and part of something bigger. We pair immersive, realistic operations with a relaxed and encouraging culture that allows members to grow at their own pace. Our community is more than a roster - it’s a crew that knows your name. We are incredibly proud of our engaging Discord environment, a lively home where members share their flying, chat socially, and take part in regular events, tours, competitions, and spontaneous group flights.

Support is always close at hand. Whether you’re new to virtual aviation, dispatch tools, or airline-style operations, our staff and experienced members are here to guide you without pressure. Assistance is available through Discord, email, or our Crew Portal contact system, ensuring you’re never flying alone.

Our identity is rooted in Scotland’s aviation heritage while embracing global horizons. From the Highlands to international destinations, our operations blend national character with a network inspired by real-world carriers - including the legacy of Flyglobespan and other historic Scottish airlines. We honour that heritage through modern, immersive routes, custom liveries, and opportunities for every pilot to explore, learn, and belong.

I am new to VA's, this being my first, and i can say that i don't see myself moving, great variety of aircraft and routes, good balance between short island hops, short-medium narrow body ops and long haul wide body ops, and cherry on the cake, cargo ops too, this airline offers everything, great community activity with group flights and chats in VC, and top class support from the staff team, Fantastic!

I have been flying on flight sims for years and have been part of many VAs and products like a pilots life etc. One evening i was on vatsim in Edinburgh and heard the callsign Braveheart, Never heard until then, just the callsign pulled me into finding out what the airline was. That's when i found euroscot! Over the years ive flown with many VAs like ezy, BA and then used APL for a while and found i would get bored of the airline quickly as it felt like nothing was there, Questioning why am i flying this easyjet etc. Joined euroscot and the community they have created is amazing and the passion the staff put in is incredible. Generally feels like im flying for a real airline. They have a realistic fleet and don't just add every aircraft into it because they can, They properly think about routes and realistic aircraft to operate that route. Also create stories like delivery flights for new aircraft joining the fleet. The staff are very active with constant updates and route changes etc and very engaging with the community getting ideas and asking for suggestions from the community. Fantastic choice in aircraft to fly and stunning liveries. euroscot is fantastic VA and one im looking to pump loads of hours in and is one you all should consider joining to!

Hi Jordan! Thanks so much for taking the time out of your evening to leave such a great review! We're chuffed we can offer you the things you value most in a VA. We're also happy to have you on our team and thank you for choosing us! Cheers EUS/SCO Virtual Staff Team

Always listen and are a good community to be part of. I have been with Euroscot since our re-launch in 2025 We have a wide variety of experience in the aviation industry in real life so can bring a lot of realism to the VA Have a good variety of flying types from short haul in an ATR to long haul in the Boeing 777 or Airbus A350 meaning as a simmer you can have short haul and long haul in the same airline.

Hi Lewis! Thanks again for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review! We're glad to have you as part of our community!

I would have never thought I wound fly for a va.... until Euroscot! If your someone looking for something different from ezyjet, ryanair etc... you'll love Euroscot. With its well thought out and professional routes accompanied by amazing liveries, seriously i would have thought it was a real airline. The motion behind it all and tight community make not only the flying a blast, but the people a joy to explore and chat too. Real hat off to all of the staff within euroscot; Any problem thier there for you and take all suggestions to heart. I believe the best part of it all are the liveries. There made with care and precision and show off the patriotic and powerful stance of Scotland within the va. There's route updates every week with a form easy to fill out and will most likely be put into serious consideration or allot of the time put in the following week. Additionally the va uses an easy to use route system called vamsys. Easy and fun! I seriously love this va and would suggest it too anyone :)

Hi Will, Thanks for taking the time to review us - We're happy to have you onboard and thank you for your loyalty!

Review Euroscot & Air Scotland Virtual Airlines

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
