FlyHoliday is a rapidly growing and highly prominent airline. It is built on some of the most innovative concepts that cannot be found in this form with any other airline: 1. Division into 4 airlines FlyHoliday is part of the Nordfly Group, which unites four airlines into one group. Each airline pursues a different goal and covers a different area of aviation. Nordfly itself is the group’s main carrier, with the most extensive route network. Whether long-haul or short-haul destinations, Nordfly covers almost everything. Nordfly Cargo covers the air freight sector, transporting large quantities of cargo across the globe. FlyHoliday is the group’s leisure airline. It primarily serves well-known holiday destinations worldwide, reaching some of the most beautiful vacation spots on Earth. EuroFly, the newest member of the group, is the value carrier and operates in the low-cost segment. The focus here is mainly on efficiency and pricing. The broad range of concepts allows pilots to carry out exactly the types of flight operations they enjoy. In addition, there is no mandatory adherence to a fixed flight schedule at Nordfly. You can depart from any airport to any other airport at your convenience and use all aircraft in the fleet. There are no restrictions—it’s all about having fun! 2. Extensive automation At the Nordfly Group, many processes are designed for simplicity and ease of use. Numerous tasks can be performed fully automatically, such as the fully integrated installation of software and liveries through a unique installer. There is no need to manually move folders into a community directory—instead, you simply click “install,” and everything is set up automatically. Updating all liveries and software programs via the installer also greatly simplifies things. 3. Focus on an active community There is a quarterly flight requirement to prevent inactive members (“dead accounts”). In other words, the pilots you encounter are active participants in the community. Helpfulness, shared events, and group flights are all part of the experience and contribute to a strong sense of community. Participation in online networks is optional, not mandatory. And if you need help, you can rely on the support of the community. 4. Flight schedule At FlyHoliday, in addition to the freedom of choosing flights independently, you can also follow a well-designed flight schedule. This schedule even changes seasonally between summer and winter timetables. Not sure which route you want to fly? You can receive monthly flight suggestions—completely optional, of course :) If that doesn’t appeal to you, there are also numerous tours you can complete. At the end, you are even rewarded with an individual award. FlyHoliday is therefore a virtual airline (VA) that gets many things right—some even better than other VAs. If you are looking for an innovative and continuously growing community, both technically and in terms of members, I can highly recommend Nordfly. 5/5

The community is superb and to a certain degree it was fun to fly for FlyHoliday. But, after re-evaluating my time in this Airline Group, I unfortunately have to change my rating. Even though I met a lot of good people there, it is mostly the way pilots are being treated by the parts of the staff, even among the staff itself. It is not rare that pilots are being called out as "stupid" publicly when they are asking legitimate questions i.e. regarding the SOPs. Those staff members should really reflect on their attitude towards other people. 2/5 - Can't recommend that airline anymore.
It is very regrettable that a former member of the CEO team, who actively helped shape the development of this virtual airline for a considerable period of time, now chooses to speak about the airline in such a disparaging and, from our perspective, factually inaccurate manner. We clearly reject the claim that team members publicly refer to pilots as “stupid.” Such behavior does not reflect our values, nor does it align with the respectful and supportive environment we strive to maintain within our community. In fact, mutual support is one of the core principles of our airline. In addition to a highly committed and helpful community, we have a dedicated team of five mentors whose role is specifically to assist new members with procedures, installations, and any other questions they may have. In most cases, concerns are addressed quickly and with genuine willingness to help. For that reason, it is all the more disappointing that, following a voluntary departure from the airline, personal differences now seem to be used as the basis for portraying such a negative image. Criticism is always legitimate and important, but it should remain fair, factual, and truthful. We deeply regret this development, both in light of the shared history and on a personal level.

An airline that stands out for its excellent support. A great team that enjoys what they do. A wide range of interesting destinations that can be reached with many different aircraft models. Additionally, I personally like the livery quite a bit, and it's definitely instantly recognizable when you see a Holiday at an airport.

Joining FlyHoliday – One of the Best Decisions I've Made Becoming a part of FlyHoliday – part of the larger Nordfly Group – was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my virtual aviation journey. I’ve been passionate about flight simulation since the FSX days, and I was finally ready to take the leap into online flying. What I was looking for was a virtual airline where I could feel comfortable and supported — and FlyHoliday has truly delivered. The community is incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the transition to online flying much easier. The Operations Center is modern and easy to navigate, and the rules are simple yet flexible — just the way I like it. I have the freedom to choose my aircraft, routes, and even my home hub, which makes the experience both personal and enjoyable. What really helped me get started were the regular group events and the sense of community. You're never just a number here — you're part of a team. The holiday fleet is diverse, and the liveries are not only professional but also look fantastic in the sim. All in all, FlyHoliday offers a complete and well-rounded package for anyone interested in relaxed, scenic, and fun virtual flying with a vacation vibe. But don’t just take my word for it — try it yourself and see what makes FlyHoliday so special.
