About us

Riyadh Air Virtual is a Riyadh Air-themed virtual airline built for flight simulation enthusiasts on VATSIM. Flying under callsign RIYADH (ICAO: RXI, IATA: RX) out of our OERK (King Khalid International) hub, we operate a growing network of 46 routes spanning regional hops to ultra-long-haul flights across the real Riyadh Air network. Pilots dispatch with SimBrief, track flights with smartCARS 3 ACARS, and fly with full VATSIM air traffic control for a realistic gate-to-gate experience.

What makes us special?

No approval wait, sign up and you're cleared to fly the same day, not stuck in a review queue.

One-click SimBrief OFP generation built directly into our own dispatch system, no manual copy-pasting between sites.

A custom-built Discord bot (not a generic template) that DMs you the moment your PIREP is reviewed or you rank up.

Fast, largely automatic PIREP review, so your flight hours count almost instantly.

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
  • Initial publication does not guarantee a review will remain visible.
