About us

Icelandair Virtual simulates the real life operations of Icelandair, the national airline of Iceland of course. Icelandair Virtual is a virtual airline which focusesses on operating as realistic as possible by real time network monitoring, realistic fleet and documents which can help our pilots. We work with ranks and we offer a direct entry to senior first officer if you have at least 450 hours with another VA (intern or extern) and we offer a Advanced Captain Course (ACC) which can help you to become a captain faster. The fleet is diverse and so is the network, we operate flights to Europe and North America, so we are the gateway between Europe and America! If you want a realistic operating airline for Icelandair we would love to welcome you on board!

What makes us special?

We offer a rank transfer and Advanced Captain Course (ACC) which will help you to grow in seniority within Icelandair Virtual fast. We offer a diverse fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircrafts and a extended network with lots of destinations in Europe and North America. We maintain the level of realism by providing documentation like checklists, SOP's and FCOM's, which are all written in house.

Review Icelandair Virtual

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
  • Initial publication does not guarantee a review will remain visible.
