About us

NordFly is the premium airline of the NordFly Group Airlines, offering flights in Europe and beyond. Its motto, "Having fun together," promotes an open, community-oriented atmosphere where pilots can fly without strict regulations or restrictions. NordFly does not follow a finance-based structure, hub limitations, or restrictive routes, putting fun at the forefront. The NordFly OperationsCenter serves as the central platform, providing pilots with tools for flight planning (with SimBrief integration), access to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), statistics, and exclusive events. Pilots can choose from over 1,700 predefined flights or create their own routes, flying offline or through the IVAO and VATSIM networks, and access a wide range of high-quality liveries.

What makes us special?

⚪️ What sets NordFly apart from other virtual Airlines?
The biggest difference between NordFly and many other virtual airlines lies in one key point:
• Only active pilots fly with us.

While other virtual airlines often boast hundreds of registered members – many of whom are inactive – we focus on quality over quantity.
Thanks to our mandatory quarterly flight requirement, we ensure that only genuinely active members are part of our airline. Every pilot must complete at least 5 flights per quarter, with the third quarter serving as our official summer break.

⚪️ Flexibility Over Restrictions
We deliberately avoid complex systems like financial or typerating restrictions.
At NordFly, flying should be fun – whether you're planning a big tour or just looking to enjoy a relaxed flight after work.

⚪️ Our pilots enjoy:
• complete freedom in route planning
• free aircraft selection
• the ability to fly offline, on IVAO or VATSIM

⚪️ A Strong Community
Our active Discord community is the heart of NordFly.
It’s primarily German-speaking, but open to international pilots as well – perfect for casual chats, group flights, or just relaxing in our voice channels.

⚪️ The NordFly Group – More Variety, More Possibilities
NordFly is part of the NordFly Group Airlines, one of the largest fictional airline groups in Germany.

The group includes:
• NordFly – our premium airline for scheduled and long-haul flights
• NordFly Cargo – our flexible cargo division
• FlyHoliday Airlines – our colorful leisure carrier

As a pilot, you can fly for all three airlines within the group – with no additional permissions* or limitations*.
* only 10 accepted flights required

⚪️ The Operations Center – Our Digital Cockpit
Our unique Operations Center, based on phpVMS, has been heavily customized and developed into a fully independent system tailored to our group’s needs.

With a focus on user-friendliness, clarity, and functionality, our system offers:
• full SimBrief integration
• flight creation in just minutes
• a clear, intuitive interface

⚪️ What Awaits You at NordFly:

• Unlimited free flights
• Seasonal summer & winter schedules
• Regular tours with awards for completion
• Event flights on IVAO & VATSIM with badges
• Rank system based on flight hours
• Loyalty awards
• “Pilot of the Month” award
• “Destination of the Month” with reward
• Monthly screenshot competition

⚪️ High-Quality Liveries & Network Presence
Our liveries are professionally designed and available for:
• Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS 2020 & 2024)
• X-Plane
• Prepar3D

Thanks to FSLTL, MTL, and XCSL, you’ll always be visible in NordFly colors to other pilots on the network.

After flying with nordlfy for close too 100h i would like to leave a review on this airline im just gonna stay something about the acars, staff, livery, routes and more and give and honest opinion First im gonna start of with the Good List ACARS System: They use the vmsACARS system wich since the last update has improven quite a lot so it does it joob good like tracking youre flight path what you do and youre landing rate, main thing i dont like about it i often had many crashed on the acars system wich i hope with the new update has improven i hope in the near future stuff like runway profile and more will be added OPC: the OPC center where u can book flights depature board and much more i must say the fact they did it themself and didnt use websites like vamys its amazing love the design how simple it is to book a flight great overview over soooo many things they recently also added a new design update wich made it look even better so website design is amazing STAFF: i didnt talk to too much mentors wich are they people that help you if you have problem not only in the nordlfy system but also with youre aircraft or other things related to msfs on top of my head i remeber Billy who was very kind and very helpful also lennard who i have seen was very helpfull overall the staff is very kind and welcoming just a few times i had a feeling the CEO of nordlfy (bastjan) could sometimes get very rude not just towards me but ive seen it quite a few times that he was a bit rude towards other members, well maybe he was just in a bad mood Community activity such as fleet routes and liverys: The community is very active always many pilots online, they have an amazing fleet you can almost fly any plane you want with the nordlfy livery Ifly 737max 757 a300 a320 a330 and much much more you name it they most likley got it, the livery im actually not a big fan of the design is ok but overall very classic wich i usually dont like same goes for the name NORDFLY or FLYHOLIDAY are just really basic names maybe couldve created something a bit smarter maybe thats just me taste is diffrent, anyways routing is a 10/10 amazign tours around the globe they support many airports in thier opc with custom depature times flight number just very well done aswell as free flights you can have as many of them as possible you can fly from edinburgh to london for example if there is a big event, for people that love to fly whereever they want to amazing, so to put hings into a final review the airline is great 100% but not what im looking for, if somone is looking for what they offer then i would choose this airline over anything other anytime of the day especially with the new eurofly airline comming up, overall i rather fly for real airlines and fly real actual airlines like EWG DLH CFG and more so it wasnt for me anymore, overall it made extrem fun flying for nordlfy i wish them nothing but the best for the future!

Joining Nordfly – One of the Best Decisions I've Made Becoming a part of Nordfly and the Nordfly Group – including Nordfly, Nordfly Cargo, and FlyHoliday – was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my virtual aviation journey. I’ve been passionate about flight simulation since the FSX days, and I was finally ready to take the leap into online flying. What I was looking for was a virtual airline where I could feel comfortable and supported — and Nordfly has truly delivered. The community is incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the transition to online flying much easier. The Operations Center is modern and easy to navigate, and the rules are simple yet flexible — just the way I like it. I have the freedom to choose my aircraft, routes, and even my home hub, which makes the experience both personal and enjoyable. What really helped me get started were the regular group events and the sense of community. You're never just a number here — you're part of a team. The fleet is diverse, and the liveries are not only professional but also look fantastic in the sim. All in all, Nordfly offers a complete and well-rounded package for anyone interested in serious yet relaxed virtual flying. But don’t just take my word for it — try it yourself and see what makes Nordfly so special.

Every pilot helps other pilots online immediately if there are problems or adjustments. It's good that you can fly both offline and online.

Mixed impression. Positive: modern platform, fast support, great tours, many aircraft types, nice overall concept Negative: sometimes inappropriate tone from those in charge, strong focus on scoring, less on flying. 3/5

The community is superb and to a certain degree it was fun to fly for NordFly. But, after re-evaluating my time in this Airline Group, I unfortunately have to change my rating. Even though I met a lot of good people there, it is mostly the way pilots are being treated by the parts of the staff, even among the staff itself. It is not rare that pilots are being called out as "stupid" publicly when they are asking legitimate questions i.e. regarding the SOPs. Those staff members should really reflect on their attitude towards other people. 1/5 - Can't recommend that airline anymore.

This is the best VA out there in my honest opinion and I've been a member of alot of Virtual Airlines over the past few years. The staff that manage and run NordFly are professional and dedicated to providing an enjoyable and excellent flying experiance. They have provided everything you need to start your VA journey with them from liveries documents and sop's which makes the process quick and easy. I would highly recommend NordFly as your next airline you wont be dissapointed I'm glad I finally found an excellent VA.

Nice Airline Love to fly for it. I love the diversity in the available fleet for the airline. If you like to fly Boeing you can fly a Boeing, if you like Airbus you can fly a Airbus. I can suggest you to have a look inside and do some flights. Good for you if you want to discover the world of the virtual Airlines. For example, you don´t have to look if the aircraft is at your current airport, you can fly it although it´s in Hanover and you´re in Hamburg.

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
  • Initial publication does not guarantee a review will remain visible.
