About us
Northeast Commuter Air is a fictional virtual airline inspired by the commuter and regional airlines that served New England and the Northeastern United States during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Set between 1987 and 1995, Northeast Commuter Air recreates the atmosphere of a growing regional carrier, offering a diverse network of commuter, shuttle, mainline, air taxi, and seasonal services. While our airline is rooted in historical inspiration, it features an original company history, route network, and fleet designed to provide an immersive and enjoyable flight simulation experience.
Pilots can operate a variety of classic aircraft, from the Britten-Norman Islander and Beechcraft 1900D to the Dash 8, Saab 340, ATR 42, DC-9, and Boeing 727, serving destinations throughout New England, the Northeastern United States, and selected Canadian and Mid-Atlantic cities.
Our philosophy is simple:

- Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
- Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
- No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
