About us
We are recruiting for flight deck positions across our full real-world fleet.
Also simulated is our current lease agreement with Virgin Australia, connecting destinations in Australia with our Hub in Doha under Virgin Australia flight number and the recently re-activated lease with Indigo.
Additionally, we operate a small historic fleet comprising A300, A340-600 and B747-8F aircraft.
With the wide range of high quality addons available, the VA rules and regulations have been aligned to suit the operating environment that we simulate. The Oryx Virtual philosophy encourages our pilots to have excitement and passion for simulating our operations but with the added realism of representing a real brand.
The VA has recently taken delivery of the Airbus A321Neo aircraft and it is fantastic to simulate these operations as well.
If you have a passion for simulating real-world operations to a safe and realistic standard, we wanted to make you aware of the Oryx concept and offer you to consider returning to or joining us in connecting passengers and cargo through Qatar to destinations worldwide.
The big achievement would be to have a truly global pilot base and so in the quiet hours in one region, our pilots on the other continents may continue the flying activity. A truly 24-hour operation spanning the time-zones, just as our aircraft do.
What makes us special?
Oryx Virtual is a new concept that allows us to mix realistic, high standards of flight simulation with the strong passion for the real-world airline that our pilots know and love.
With the recent increase in activity and to continue our passion for aviation within the region, we created our executive jet division - Oryx Exec. This will simulate real-world operations of the A319 and A340-300 airbus corporate jet, and also the Gulfstream G650ER aircraft from our executive base at Doha International Airport. It gives our pilots further reason to choose flying with us and it will be fantastic to see the activity on the live map displaying passenger, cargo and executive operations around the world.

Very nice VA, with amazing network. Unfortunately, if you don’t fly on behalf of the Va for 60 days, even if you have valid reasons for this ruling, you are banned for life ! An outstanding Virtual Airline. Management is very active and engaging the members are very friendly there is a good community spirit at the VA and in the discord. Realism is taken seriously but not forced upon you with restrictive rules. I highly recommend this Virtual Airline for its focus on realistic operations. The variety of the fleet and routes is first class as well.
Your time to write this review is really appreciated. Similar to our other reviews received it is excellent to see our sense of community is mentioned regularly, and the discord does feel like a genuine crew room at an airline. Hello, the VA is fully active at present with 2300 pilot registrations, pilots interested to return or brand new pilots are welcome to attend the discord server now linked in the description above.
