Skyline is one of those Virtual Airlines that is great to start with, and great to continue. I didn't know about their rebirth, or even their existence, until they joined a TikTok live stream, using their own TikTok account, commenting, so I had to have a look! I'm glad I did, as they've been incredibly welcoming, and I really feel at home. The thought of VATSIM scared me when I was younger, and once I got into the groove of VATSIM, the thought of joining a Virtual Airline scared me, but I have now conquered my fears, and I'm now reaching for the skies!

Skylines is one of the more unique Virtual Airlines. Rather than being an airline which has a huge fleet and only a handful of repaints, Skylines fleet is small and offers every registration out to pilots so they can fly all aircraft registrations. The bases are varied and the community on Discord is friendly with plenty of knowledge and friendly conversation on a daily basis. Skylines offer regular focus airports, online events and ad hoc events for sporting events happening in the real world. I look forward to seeing Skylines develop into an established Virtual Airline and being around for many years to come.

To start with, a genuine supportive community filled with great people, offering advice and help when needed as well as being funny and just a great bunch of people to be around, there are a bunch of routes that range from short to long and everything inbetween so deffo something for everyone, and not to forget the awesome liveries available aswell. I am fortunate to have found a home with Skylines Virtual redeaux and am honored to have been placed on the Founders Pilot roster. This VA is unique in that it faithfully offers a small to midsize airline operation based in the UK. Every month there is a focus destination, tours etc. that earn bonus points for participating towards the next pilot ranking. The website and Discord integration is fantastic with a dedicated private channel in Discord for dispatch. The staff are warm, welcoming and a hoot! I'm a good 'ol southern yank in the mountains of NC, US and I feel right at home. I highly recommend Skylines Virtual Airline if you're searching for a welcoming VA home!! 5 Stars
