About us

TheblueGroup VA is a virtual airline for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. We fly the real schedules of six airlines: KLM, Transavia, Transavia France, Air France, SAS and Martinair Cargo, with a fleet of 754 aircraft across 26 types.

Everything runs through our Crew Center and our own tablet. You book a flight from the real timetable in the Crew Center, plan it in SimBrief, and then fly it with the tablet, which opens in its own window inside the sim. ACARS follows every phase of the flight by itself, and when you're back at the gate your flight report is waiting.

New pilots apply on our website. Once a staff member approves you, a short interactive tutorial shows you the tablet and how booking works, and finishing it unlocks booking. [Joining is free.]

We're an independent hobby community and not affiliated with any of the airlines we fly.

What makes us special?

Our own tablet inside MSFS 2024, with your SimBrief dispatch, loadsheet, takeoff performance, weather, charts for 20 of our main airports, crew chat, checklists and ACARS in one place.

Every aircraft in our fleet has its own tech log, kept by the VA (your add-on isn't touched). Before pushback you check oil, tyres, hydraulics and oxygen and sign for the aircraft, and a landing harder than 840 fpm grounds it for a 5-hour inspection.

The cabin is filled with simulated passengers, each with a name and a seat, using real seat maps for our KLM, Transavia, Air France and SAS aircraft. They board with or without GSX and review your flight afterwards.

After landing you get a debrief of your touchdown: landing rate, centreline and flare.

Ranks go from Cadet to Senior Captain and come from your flights and hours.

You can also switch to historical operations and fly more than 37,000 flights from past timetables, from 1954 to 2024.

Review TheBlueGroup VA

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
  • Initial publication does not guarantee a review will remain visible.
