About us

Welcome aboard vASA Virtual Airlines, where adventure meets authenticity. Inspired by the legacy of Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian operations, vASA brings the heart of Pacific aviation to the world of flight simulation.

Founded by a passionate group of virtual aviators, vASA was built to celebrate two of America’s most breathtaking regions — the rugged wilderness of Alaska and the tropical paradise of Hawaii. Our roots trace back to the golden era of aviation, where bush pilots braved the elements to connect remote Alaskan communities and island hoppers bridged the Pacific skies.

Today, vASA continues that tradition in the virtual skies. From Anchorage to Honolulu, our routes reflect real-world operations — from short-haul commuter flights through snowy mountain passes to long-range oceanic journeys across the Pacific.

Our community thrives on realism, camaraderie, and exploration. Whether you fly a turboprop into Juneau’s challenging approaches or cruise a 737 across the Pacific blue, vASA offers a unique and immersive experience for every virtual pilot.

What makes us special?

- Realistic and Historic schedules inspired by Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian operations
- Fleet spanning regional turboprops to modern jets
- Dynamic events and group flights connecting the 49th and 50th states
- Friendly, active community with training and support for all experience levels

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
  • Initial publication does not guarantee a review will remain visible.
