vEmirates has probably been one of the easiest VAs for me to just relax and enjoy flying in. It has enough structure to give you goals, rankings and events to work toward, but it never feels like someone is standing over your shoulder telling you exactly how you have to enjoy the hobby. One of my favorite things is how laid back they are with fleet selection. The network is basically open fleet, so if you want to fly a 777, A350 or A380 on a route, you generally can. You’re not constantly fighting schedules because the exact aircraft you want isn’t assigned to that city pair. For me that matters a lot. Sometimes I want realism, and sometimes I just want to take the airplane I’m enjoying that week and go fly Emirates somewhere interesting. The long-haul network is obviously a huge draw too. There’s something satisfying about launching out of Dubai and actually going somewhere halfway around the world, and there are plenty of people in the VA who enjoy that kind of flying. At the same time, if long-haul isn’t your thing, the VA also features flydubai operations, so there’s plenty there for pilots who prefer shorter regional flying around the Gulf, Middle East, and beyond. The Discord has been a good experience as well. It’s relaxed, people share screenshots and talk airplanes, and it feels more like a group of people who actually enjoy Emirates than a place where you file a PIREP and disappear. Between the freedom, the fleet, the network and the community, vEmirates has done a really good job of remembering that this is still supposed to be fun. If you like widebodies, international flying, shorter flydubai-style ops, or just the Emirates brand in general, it’s pretty hard not to find something here you’ll enjoy.

Excellent airline. Ive only been a member for a little while but the support and community is amazing. If you struggle with anything or unsure just ask and you get support where needed. Brings the realism to the simulator a bit more. Plenty more flights to come with this VA

I’ve been flying with vEmirates for around 18 months now, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best experiences I’ve had in the virtual airline community. From the moment I joined, the professionalism, organisation and attention to detail really stood out. What could easily have been just another virtual airline quickly became something I genuinely looked forward to being part of. The whole operation feels incredibly well thought out, from the flight schedules and systems through to the way the community is run. What I particularly appreciate is the balance between realism and enjoyment. vEmirates gives you the opportunity to experience what it is like to operate as part of a major international airline, while still making it accessible and enjoyable. There is enough structure and realism to keep things interesting, but it never feels like a chore. Over the last 18 months, I’ve completed a wide range of flights and have really enjoyed the variety. The network, destinations and aircraft options give you plenty of reasons to keep coming back, and there is always another route or challenge to look forward to. The community is another major strength. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, welcoming and supportive. Whether you are an experienced simmer or relatively new to virtual aviation, there is a real sense that people want you to enjoy the experience and get the most out of it. The team behind vEmirates also deserve a huge amount of credit. The time and effort that goes into maintaining the airline, developing the systems and creating new opportunities for members is obvious. It feels like an organisation that genuinely cares about its members and continually looks for ways to improve. After 18 months, I’m still enjoying it just as much as when I joined, which probably says more than anything else. It has added another dimension to my MSFS flying and given me a reason to fly routes I might otherwise never have considered. If you’re looking for a virtual airline that combines realism, professionalism, a great network and a genuinely friendly community, I would have no hesitation in recommending vEmirates. Here’s to the next 18 months of flying!
